DOMCLEAN LIMITED, with regional offices and warehouse facilities in Brantford, Kitchener, London, Ottawa, and Halifax NS, was founded in 1917. We are a Canadian owned contract cleaning/sanitary supply distribution company and currently clean millions of square feet daily. Domclean is one of only a few building service contractors in North America to achieve ISO registration. Our organization was also one of the first companies in Canada registered to the new ISO 9001 standard.

Sustainability

Domclean Limited’s approach to Sustainability focuses on cleaning’s impact on the health and the well-being of clients, our staff, the community and the environment as well as protecting natural resources.

We are careful to align ourselves only with vendors who support independent third-party certification of their green “claims” through Green Seal or EcoLogo; we do not endorse self-professed green statements without substantiating evidence. While some manufacturers have had to “react” to the environmental sustainability movement – many of our vendor partners actually pioneered it. Companies such as Diversey, SCA-Tork (now known as Essity), 3M, Eco II and Tennant-Nobles have made enormous investments to refining their manufacturing processes while also developing viable green products from the onset rather than simply deleting hazardous ingredients to conform to standards with their older products.

Domclean Limited makes use of both the resources and expertise of manufacturers as well as from industry associations such as the International Sanitary Supply Association’s “Cleaning Industry Management Standard”; the Canada Green Building Council and BOMA. Our senior management team is committed to the continual education of our employees in the environmental field.

We are consistently looking to reduce or eliminate the use of chemicals in the workplace and to implement new procedures.

All these commitments help ensure that LEED, BOMA BEST, CIMS or other environmental certifications/objectives are being consistently maintained or achieved.

Founded in 1917, Domclean Limited has been providing contract cleaning services to industrial and commercial facilities for over 100 years. The business has passed down from generation to generation, along with this simple formula for success, “Provide the best possible service with the best possible people”.

As technology advanced and modern cleaning methods developed, “Train them well with the most up to date products and machinery available” became the corporate directive. We still follow this mandate for success today.  In the early 1980’s, the Company name changed from “Dominion Window & Floor” to “Domclean Limited”.
